2007 Mosiman Book Drive Summary

The purpose of our first children’s book drive was to get books into the hands of our children for summer reading to continue the improvement their reading skills and enjoyment of reading.  A skill that we believe will lead to greater academic success.  View our Gallery ››

A GREAT SUCCESS!

3000 books distributed to the children of Watsonville, Pajaro and Las Lomas with the assistance of librarians from the PVUSD.  Of the 3000 books distributed, 2300 of these books came from direct donations of books from the general public.

$2500 was donated for the purchase of 700 books for children in grades K-3.
