Cristofor L. Copren
Age 23, formerly of Aptos, CA, died on Friday, May 30, 2008, in Santa Fe, after a courageous battle with osteosarcoma. Cris was surrounded by family and friends who lovingly cared for him during his final hours.
Born in Sacramento, CA, July 3, 1984, the son of Marjorie Lunderville and the late Robert L. Copren. Cris leaves behind his loving sister and brother, Cynthia and Rolf Bieber.
He is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Cherise Mosiman; his Uncle Clifford and Aunt Donna Copren, Aunt Judith Eizinger, Uncle Ray Lunderville; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and very close friends.
Cris, always optimistic, continued pursuing his educational goals while undergoing cancer treatments and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in June 2007 from the University of California, Davis. After moving to New Mexico, Cris continued classes at the Santa Fe Community College, where he inspired classmates.
Cris touched many hearts with his winning smile, gentleness, and dignity with which he carried on while enduring a major illness. Cris now soars with new wings, leaving us with joyful memories.
